About
Katelyn Gard is a New York–based actor, singer, and voiceover artist working across theatre, film, and audio.
She began her training as an early admissions theatre major at SUNY Fredonia—after attempting to graduate high school early but sticking around thanks to an unresolved gym credit requirement (ironic, considering her background in dance). There, she studied
acting, dance, and stage combat before eventually leaving to pursue voice acting full time. She was most recently seen in Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Musical at Theatre of Youth in Buffalo, NY and is continuing to expand her work in regional theatre and film. In the voiceover world, she is featured in Mysteries About True Histories and Who Smarted?, two of the leading children’s educational podcasts from the Emmy-nominated team behind Netflix’s Brainchild, showcasing her vocal versatility and bold, playful character creation.
When she’s not working, she’s likely reading (currently aiming for 52 books this year), baking, hiking, or thrifting to fuel her antique painting addiction, often with her pitbull Moony nearby. She’s especially drawn to stories that center queer and neurodivergent experiences and is always looking for work that feels honest, specific, and genuinely human.
